Three dogs said by police to have been 'out of control' have been seized after a man and woman aged in their 20s were bitten inside a house.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said the dogs were taken away as a 'safety precaution' after they were 'deemed to be out of control at the scene'. No further information has been provided. Emergency services including police and paramedics were called to Manchester Road in Heywood, near Rochdale, at 9.20am on Tuesday morning.
In a statement, GMP said: "At around 9.20am this morning - September 27 - police were called to a report of two people being bitten by their dog at an address on Manchester Road, Heywood.
