The Light Blues got post-Michael Beale life off to a flying start as they dumped the Hibees 4-0 at Ibrox thanks to Abdallah Sima's double and strikes from Cyriel Dessers and Nicolas Raskin.
The Light Blues kicked off a new era at the club as Philippe Clement took to the dugout for the first time after he was the man picked by the club hierarchy to replace Michael Beale at the helm after the former boss was axed following a poor start to the campaign after being heavily backed in the summer transfer market to put his own stamp on the squad.

Abdallah Sima netted a double with Nicolas Raskin and Cyriel Dessers on target and two of the goalscoreres plus Scott Wright came in for a special mention from the former Ibrox defender and now pundit. He knows there is a long way to go but the early signs are very promising.
“I thought the likes of Sima and Dessers, Wright filled in defensively and helped out the full-backs when they have sometimes been left exposed.
