The trio - a 22-year-old from Argyll, a 32-year-old from Oban and a 24-year-old from Campbeltown - have been charged in connection with the police operation in Humberside
Three Scots have been charged after cocaine worth £40million was allegedly smuggled into the UK on a boat.
A fourth man, Didier Javier Tordecilla Reyes, 39, who is a Colombian national, has also been charged in connection with the National Crime Agency investigation.It comes after they were detained by officers at the weekend following the discovery of half a tonne of cocaine in the back of a Vauxhall Vivaro van in the car park of the Stags Head Inn in Humberside.
The smaller boat was found abandoned on rocks at Easington Beach. All four are expected to appear before Hull Magistrates later today.
