Three teenagers, all aged 19, were injured when a gunfight broke out near a park inShots were fired on Hamstead Road, near the entrance to Handsworth Park, after 6pm on Friday, prompting a huge police response.Paramedics treated one of the boys for his wounds before taking him to a nearby hospital.A statement from West Midlands Police said: ‘We are investigating after shots were fired in Hamstead Road, Lozells, just after 6pm.
‘None of the men are believed to be in a life-threatening condition. Officers remain at the scene tonight as enquiries continue. ‘Anyone with information should get in contact with investigators via Live Chat on our website or call 101, quoting log 3095 of 24 February.’
