Officers arrived to search the area and managed to track down the offenders
and stolen bikes before making three arrests.Three boys aged 17, 15, and 14 remain in police custody at this time and the force has appealed for witnesses to come forward.
Inspector Dan Jones said: “This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated in Watford, and we have conducted fast-time enquiries in order to identify the offenders and get them in police custody. “We are continuing with our investigation, and I would ask anyone who believes they may have witnessed the incident, or who has any information about the robbery, to please get in contact with us.
“Any information, even something that may seem relatively minor or insignificant, could be key to progressing our enquiries.”
