Manchester United are considering a transfer for Ryan Gravenberch and have been linked with Sofyan Amrabat.
Manchester United have seven days to make their final moves before the summer transfer window closes.
The ex Chelsea man will not feature before the international break. Gravenberch - who Ten Hag knows from their Ajax days - is not the only option as United also continue to be linked with Sofyan Amrabat. However, while respective selling clubs Bayern Munich and Fiorentina might be prepared to play ball, proposed business will depend on United rubber-stamping departures. If all goes to plan, here are three ways in which Ten Hag could line up with Gravenberch or Amrabat added to their midfield.
One simple fix, especially while Mount finds himself on the treatment table, would be to bring the proposed new man in alongside Casemiro, with Fernandes continuing to play between the lines in his preferred 'number 10' position. That role would suit Amrabat more than Gravenberch, who is the more attack minded of the two.
