A THUG punched a female cop 30 times and yelled "I'm going to kill you" in a vile attack that left her unable to hold her baby.
Adam McManus, 26, attacked PC Alison Laughlan in Renfrewshire, Scotland, when she was responding to a street brawl.PC Laughlan managed to break free after her five colleagues helped her restrain McManusPC Alison tried to arrest McManus as he had assaulted two of his neighbours in front of a child.
Sheriff Colin Pettigrew said at the sentencing hearing: "Blows to the head, whether by punch or kick can unfortunately be fatal."When the police arrived, your behaviour did not stop. If anything, it escalated.
