The gang stole cars, often at knifepoint, and sold them on social media. Over seven weeks, Camp was involved in 15 burglaries, leaving a string of terrified victims. He was jailed for 14 years and four months.
A thug led a group of masked up yobs in a campaign of violent and robberies - leaving a string of terrified victims.
Over the course of seven weeks, Camp, 30, was involved in 15 burglaries. Jailing him, Judge Elizabeth Nicholls said: "This was semi-professional. You are as responsible as those who armed themselves. You had no regard as offences were committed in broad daylight in front of many witnesses." On another occasion, the gang broke into a house while a couple were sleeping. They woke to find two figures standing over them holding a knife. The man was dragged from his bed and forced to wake his brother up and hand keys over. A BMW was taken.
On Green Street, Middleton, a man noticed his daughter's bag was gone and his back door open. He then noticed two motorbikes in the garage had been taken. A picture from Camp's phone, taken at 5am that morning, showed him on a stolen motorbike.
