Fiscal depute Andrew Harding told Perth Sheriff Court: “He attended his mother’s address. She had left the door unlocked as she was expecting him.
“He pulled her head towards him and bit her on the forehead. He was shouting the whole time that he was doing this. He then released his hold on her head and left the house. She took her opportunity to phone the police. Solicitor Jamie Baxter, defending, said: “He is not proud of this incident. He had been arguing with his mother and this occurred. They remain in contact.”
