Issac Francis, 22, was pictured grinning as he snapped triumphant selfies after being given a community order for stabbing a stranger.

A blade thug grinned for selfies outside court after dodging jail for stabbing a stranger twice. Issac Francis, 22, was pictured beaming at Manchester Crown Court yesterday as he snapped triumphant selfies after being given a community order for wounding and possession of a bladed article.

He was seen on CCTV sprinting towards a group of three men, who were assaulting one man, with his right hand in his pocket. Francis, from Little Hulton, ran up behind the man who was being attacked and stabbed him twice in the left buttock with a knife. Nicola Carrol, representing Francis in court, said her client had “genuine remorse” for his actions and the incident had been the “wake up call he needed”.
