Yobs tossed bricks at the vehicle in the early hours of Sunday morning, causing windows to smash and leaving huge dents in the car.

A car was badly damaged in Glasgow after yobs showered it with bricks reportedly lobbed from a nearby abandoned building.

The local community council have been calling for the social work office to be demolished for years and youths were reported to be throwing glass bottles from the building earlier this year. One local explained: "Young ones have been hanging around the abandoned building at the bottom of the street and they've lobbed bricks from a height at this car.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.40am on Sunday, July 14, we received a report of damage to a car on Corkerhill Gardens, Glasgow. Enquiries are ongoing.”
