President Joe Biden has said he would sign such a bill into law if it came to his desk. The bill allows the president to give ByteDance an additional 90 days from the nine-month divestiture period if there is progress toward a sale. Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa., is running for reelection in Pennsylvania while TikTok has spent over $690,000 on ads in that state, according to AdImpact.
