Social media star, Ron McClure, is set to take part in a club night on Sauchiehall Street with a view to going on tour.
The face of Ron's Quality Snax has taken TikTok by storm with his entertaining food making and rapping skills. And those making their way to Campus on Saturday night will be able to see the legend in person The 72-year-old was on the look out to promote his business in different ways following the pandemic. His grandson was the one who persuaded Ron to post a clip on TikTok and immediately the video took off.
Millions have now viewed the local celebrity create a variety of mouth-watering snacks, with the account boasting over 40,000 followers.Ron will be on the DJ decks at 9pm on July 15 before a meet and greet session. The East Kilbride man will also be taking part in a live rap battle to entertain club goers.
It is hoped that Ron will tour Scotland for freshers week and appear at a variety of night life spots across the country to meet students.
