Tim Curry in Burke & Hare
Summary Tim Curry's new horror movie, titled Stream, marks his big screen return after 14 years. The English actor rose to relevancy with his role as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the 1975 film The Rocky Horror Picture Show, reprising a role he originated in the musical stage production.
This has been a really hard secret to keep and contain our excitement, especially for this long. We are so happy and thrilled to bring Tim back to the movies and back to the big screen! His charm always radiates and shines through everything he does and we are so honored to have him a part of Stream! He is someone I have idolized personally growing up and it is one of the major highlights of my life getting to work with him, especially on a project that means so much to me.
After The Rocky Horror Picture Show in 1975, Curry began to appear in many movies, including Annie, Legend, Clue, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, The Three Musketeers, Muppet Treasure Island, Scary Movie 2, and more. The 2010 comedy Burke & Hare was his last feature film role before suffering a major stroke in 2012. After that, he shifted mostly to voice acting, including an Emmy-wining role in Peter Pan & the Pirates, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and more.
