Bob Dylan is reportedly working with director James Mangold to tell the story of one of the most important periods of his life.
Timothee Chalamet is in talks to play Bob Dylan in a new film about the musician, according to reports.during his defining period in the mid-60s, when he moved from folk to embrace the electric guitar and recorded the albums Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited and Blonde On Blonde.
The film will be directed by James Mangold, who is known for Johnny Cash biopic Walk The Line and 2020 BAFTA nominee Le Mans '66, it reports.The working title is reported to be Going Electric, and will be produced in part by Dylan's longtime manager Jeff Rosen, according to US magazine Pitchfork.
In 2005, Martin Scorsese directed the documentary film No Direction Home, tracing the star's rise to fame.
