TimTheTatMan bundle has been removed from Modern Warfare 2 following Nickmercs controversy timthetatman ModernWarfare2 Activision warzone
. The ensuing backlash that his previous message caused forced Activision to exclude his bundle from the store, after which they went on to state that they were “focused on celebrating PRIDE with our employees and our community.”livestream on Twitch
. However, his unwavering stance and decision to back up his original message meant that the cosmetic would remain excluded for the foreseeable future. Because of this, TimTheTatMan eventually decided to stand in solidarity with his long-time friend by requesting that his own bundle be withdrawn from the game through another. In it, the content creator said that “NICKMERCS has been my friend for years – we went in getting our CoD operators together.” “It feels wrong for me to have mine and him no longer have his. In support of my friend, please remove the timthetatman bundle,” he continued.
Based on the criticism that both sides have received so far, it seems unlikely that these skins are going to be reinstated any time soon. It’s worth noting, though, that the players who purchased either of the two bundles before they were taken out of Modern Warfare 2 will still be able to use them so you may still see both content creators’ likenesses in your matches from time to time.
