Ryan Thomas' ex Tina O'Brien shares cryptic posts after he announces fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh is pregnant
Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien has shared a cryptic post after former boyfriend Ryan Thomas announced he and fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh were expecting a baby together.
One post shared by Tina read: “Don’t always trust what you see on social media. Even salt looks like sugar.”Instagram users claimed that the cryptic quote alluded to being related Ryan and Lucy’s announcement, with one fan writing: “I think out of respect to all Scarlett should have been told in private, not splashed all over social media.”
“For the sake of Scarlett, it has been well worth preserving [our relationship] and choosing our battles.” In the video, which Ryan shared to Instagram, members of the Thomas family, including his brothers Scott and Adam, pose for a family photo while Scarlett stands in the front of the group. “Are you happy?!,” dad Ryan asks his daughter, who nods in response. In a recent interview with OK! magazine, the couple confirmed plans to start a family, despite Ryan previously saying he didn't want anymore children.
