Tinder letting lovers go on 'virtual dates' with new Face To Face video-calling feature
TINDER has started testing a new 'virtual dating' feature that will let you video chat with your potential lover.Users have to agree to some ground rules such as no nudity or sexual contentFace to Face will enable users to video chat with people they match with within the Tinder app.
If those users want to video chat they'll need to be in a conversation with their person of interest.You'll need to tap this to start the 'virtual date' but before it can begin each user much agree to a few rules.After the call, users will be asked if they would consider doing another video chat with the person.Match has said it considered a feature like this before but the pandemic has now made it more desirable.
Tinder told us: "During this testing phase, we’re looking to better understand how video chat fits in with the overall journey of getting to know someone new, to see what works and make sure it’s the best video experience that we can provide.We will evaluate additional markets as part of the test and we will provide updates when we have them.”Never give out personal information such as social security numbers, credit card numbers, bank information, or work or home addresses.
