Tinder is launching its own Choose Your Own Adventure-style series that will match prospective daters based on the decisions they make.
Swipe Night will invite people to take part in a post-apocalypse story that twists and turns based on decisions they make at key points in the narrative - much like the classic interactive books. But not only will the choices users make shape each five minute episode, which will air every Sunday in October, they will also dictate who they get matched with to chat with when the credits roll.To add to the stakes, there will be a seven second time limit on every decision - the most critical of which will become a fixture of your dating profile so people know just how useless you would be in an apocalyptic world.
Karena Evans, who has directed music videos for rap star Drake, has been behind the camera for each episode, which have been shot vertically to suit a smartphone screen.When it launches on 6 October, Swipe Night will mark the first time Tinder has featured streaming video.More from Science & Tech
