Edinburgh Zoo's new addition is nine weeks old, meaning it's time for her first health check - and the tiny youngster is doing well and due to be named shortly.
We are once again calling for Glasgow to have its own zoo after spotting incredibly cute photos of Edinburgh Zoo's latest arrival.The park, which is run by the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, shared the images as the wildlife conservation charity’s veterinary team checked over the nine-week-old cub born on July 17.
Visitors will soon have the chance to spot the cub, who will be sticking close to mum Ginger and dad Bruce, and has brought the number of red pandas living at the Scottish zoo up to five.
