The 2024 Grand National Festival will finally get underway this week, and you're more likely to have the best possible time if you're prepared.
Thursday, April 11, will kick things off before Ladies Day on Friday, April 12, and the main event at the Grand National on Saturday, April 13. The station is directly opposite the racecourse, so the walk is minimal. If you're looking for somewhere to head afterwards to carry on the party, jump on the train to Liverpool central, or Ormskirk. Both locations , at the end of each line have plenty of pubs and bars.
