US Coast Guard to hold press conference on latest in search for missing submersible near wreck of Titanic - updates
The submersible, a Cyclops-2 model, is the second Cyclops model built by OceanGate, after the Cyclops-1.

According to marine tracking data the Polar Prince research vessel - the mothership of the Titan, a pipe-laying vessel the Deep Energy and another commercial vessel called the Skandi Vinland have all gathered close to the site.A French research craft called the L'Atalante should be there by tonight, Sky News reports.
The vessel has no seats, one tiny bathroom and was likely navigated using a 'video game controller'. All passengers have to sit on the floor, according to aIn the video, Rush is shown sitting on the ground while showing the video crew around - not that there was much around. The submersible has a small bathroom, one overhead light, a few wall lights, and a window.
US media outlet The Rolling Stone reported an internal US government memo said “banging” was detected by Canadian search aircraft in 30-minute intervals on Wednesday. He added: “The thrusters are quite strong but, at the end of the day, you have to conserve your power because it’s your life support system and navigation system.”
“He will be certainly doing all he possibly can to make sure everyone is calm and collected and waiting for recovery.”
