The TK Maxx version was labelled an 'iconic dupe'
A TK Maxx shopper was ‘gobsmacked’ after spotting a dupe of a designer footstool - for a fraction of the price.
Bargain hunters and fashion lovers often head to high street giant TK Maxx to find dupes and discounts on designer items. One shopper has spotted a dupe for a £515 designer footstool at the retailer. Taking to TikTok, @fenloninteriors shared a video showcasing the two stools. She said: “No sorry I don’t even think you are ready for this interior dupe I am about to show you, like I am gobsmacked at this find.”The TikToker then went on to compare the two stools and labelled the TK Maxx version an "iconic dupe". The Eichholtz Bente stool, which is priced online at £515, is cream and features bouclé material.
The Cream Sherpa Square Footstool from TK Maxx is very similar in design, in the same colour and almost identical material. Both stools are cubed and feature deep channel stitching. While the Eichholtz Bente stool is priced at £515, the TK Maxx stool costs £69.99. This means shoppers could save around £445 by opting for the dupe. You can shop the TK Maxx version online here.
