Progressive squad member Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) accused Israel on Tuesday of deliberately killing seven humanitarian aid workers in an airstrike.
Tlaib told viewers not to “look away” from her social media posts, which showed images of a car that was allegedly badly damaged from the airstrike, and images of theon Instagram, next to an image of the vehicle. “Don’t look away. The government of Israel killed seven humanitarian workers . They knew the coordinates of the workers and used it to kill them.”
The seven workers were killed in an airstrike late Monday after handing out food to Palestinians in Gaza. The group’s vehicle was hit by the strike despite Israel allegedly knowing where the convoy would be. WCK said it coordinates its aid efforts with the Israel Defense Forces beforehand. Israel has admitted that it hit the vehicle by mistake and said it was reviewing the situation to make sure it does not occur again.Our hearts go out to their families and to their home countries.“Unfortunately, on the last day, there was a tragic event of our forces unintentionally hitting innocent people in the Gaza Strip,” Israeli Prime Minister.
Biden has been losing support among young voters for his administration’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war. At least 1-in-5 Democratic voters in Wisconsin have said that the war in Gaza will contribute to their votes in the state primary on Tuesday,
