A familiar face in Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will be coming back to the Philippines as he reinforces the Jordanian national team in the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
The explosive former Arizona forward was just four months removed from leading TNT to the 2022-23 PBA Governors' Cup championship after dethroning Barangay Ginebra last April.His impressive performance that saw him average 30.4 points, 13.3 rebounds and 6.6 assists, enabled him to also win the Best Import of that conference.Just last July, following an equally impressive stint with San German in the Puerto Rican pro basketball league, Hollis-Jefferson.
Hollis-Jefferson will be teaming up with veteran Jordanian forward Zaid Abbas, big man Ahmad Aldwairi and gunner Sam Bzai, hopeful they could come up with a solid showing in the group stage.And similar to the Philippine team's key objective in this year's world basketball showpiece, Jordan will try to be the best-performing team in Asia that could secure the team a spot in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games in France.
