Broadcaster TNT have clarified their position on Jermaine Jenas following the former footballer being sacked from his role at the BBC.
"It followed allegations involving digital communications such as texts, which were raised with the corporation a few weeks ago," it continued.
The report states that despite Jenas remaining a member of the TNT Sport team for now, he is 'not pencilled in' for any games over the next few weeks. "I always loved Formula One and this particular job came about because FE is a brand-new sport, it's only nine or ten years old," Jenas said on '"It's a sport that revolves around sustainability and the excitement as well. When they asked me to do it, I was like, 'Look I've never seen this racing before. As much as I love F1, I'm going to have to do a lot of research and work into FE.'"They were like, 'That's what we want.
