Gigi Percival’s 3rd birthday was a sign of the times — or at least, a phase in time. An Instagram video featuring her recent party highlights a celebration made up of metal, plastic and paper signs of all manners and shapes. “Toilet” and “Caution” signs plastered the walls and doors, “Slippery When Wet” and “Watch For Children” cookies lined platters and there was even a “No Smoking” birthday cake complete with red, white and black icing.
“So we’re like, ‘Well, we’re gonna love signs for the next couple of weeks.’” The love for signs expanded, too. Gigi’s grandparents got involved and Percival’s mother tapped a friend who works for a roading company to help make even more signs for the birthday party. Percival and his wife’s siblings, who live in different parts of the world , sent photos of signs for inspiration.
