Cruise’s big moment as the speeches concluded and US R&B star H.E.R. performed the American national anthem, Stars And Stripes, on her guitar.
’ Cruise’s hair-raising stunt series was followed by a much more chilled performance from a series of A-list Californian natives, who offered a taste of what is to come in four years. After the Olympic flag was passed between several US Olympians, it arrived at the famous beach where the Red Hot Chili Peppers were playing their hit Can’t Stop. Thank you, Paris!
