Tom Daley hospitalised with Covid before Olympic gold medal win
Tom Daley has candidly revealed he was hospitalised with coronavirus shorty before the Tokyo Olympics.
He began having headaches and dizziness in January, which he put down to a mild concussion in training on New Years Eve. Olympic diver Tom was then given oxygen and monitored for 10 hours before he was eventually sent home. He now thinks he has a five per cent reduction in his cardiovascular fitness. Tom added: "I would consider myself to be quite a healthy person, but Covid doesn’t discriminate at all."
