Tom is playing back-to-back shows in Bootle this weekend
Music legend Tom Jones is gearing up to headline Salt and Tar's Music Weekend with some of the biggest hits from his discography. Taking place from August 16 to August 18, Tom will perform at both the Saturday and Sunday events accompanied by a range of homegrown artists across the three-day festival. The Bootle -based event saw massive success last year, with Red Rum Club, Cast and The Lathums taking to the stage in sell-out shows.
Fans of the Welsh singer-songwriter will be happy to hear his setlists typically include more than 20 songs including three as an encore. Cllr Ian Maher, leader of Sefton Council, said: 'We are absolutely delighted to welcome the legendary Tom Jones to Bootle . Salt and Tar, even in a short time, has established itself as an excellent entertainment venue in the heart of Sefton.
