TOM KERRIDGE - the Michelin-starred TV chef - has opened up about the phone call he received to tell him his 'phenomenal' mentor, Gary Rhodes, had died.
Celebrity chef Tom Kerridge, 46, who was late restaurateur Gary Rhodes' sous chef, has detailed the phone call he had from a close friend who informed him that the culinary legend had died suddenly. The TV star recalled the sad moment in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk.Tom, who previously said Gary was a"fantastic and phenomenal cook", looked back on the time he discovered the late chef had died at the age of 59 in November.
