Tommy Fleetwood is still searching for his first major win but an Olympic gold would go quite some way to appeasing the Southport star.
Tommy Fleetwood is set to lead Team GB's quest for another golfing gold this summer, with a competitive edge over his rivals. Fleetwood and Matt Fitzpatrick, the 2022 US Open champion, will represent Great Britain in the men's golf event at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Justin Rose secured gold for GB at Rio 2016, while Paul Casey narrowly missed out on bronze in Tokyo's seven-man play-off.
They triumphed over Tiger Woods three times and defeated the formidable US team of Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas, contributing to Europe's exhilarating victory. Fleetwood is now back in France with high expectations of a podium finish and he's eager to get started.
