The pair, both 25, announced their shock split last year and after much speculation, boxer Tommy recently confirmed the real reason for the break-up. He confessed that his struggle with alcohol was the true cause of their separation and firmly dismissing any cheating accusations. The pair have fuelled reconciliation rumours, with the ex-couple seen sharing a kiss at New Years.
And today, the pair have come together at the house they used to share to celebrate Bambi's milestone. The proud parents took to their Instagram accounts to reveal that they threw Bambi a The Tiger Who Came To Tea-themed birthday as it’s the youngster’s favourite book “ever”. The pair both shared snaps of the sweet birthday set-up, which included a 'Bambi is TWO!' sign and a sea of gifts sitting around her miniature table and chair set. Birthday balloons also decorated the area, along with cute star bunting. Molly captioned the snaps: “Bambi’s 2nd birthday!!”, showing how emotional she was with crying emojis. The proud mum also revealed that Bambi went to baby ballet on her birthday, alongside a gorgeous snap of the little one beaming as she danced along in her pink tutu. Molly wrote: “Mood when baby ballet falls own your birthday” and “happiest”. And despite a hectic schedule, the influencer revealed she has continued her tradition of making a birthday cake for her daughter, as she debuted this year’s creation. After reminding fans of what she baked last year with a throwback, Molly shared a snap of the incredible and colourful 'pony stable' cake which she made over two days. She said: “THIS YEAR. I nearly gave up but after two days I got it done. Keeping the birthday cake tradition going!!!” Meanwhile, Tommy kicked off his daughter's birthday today with a touching throwback on his Instagram Stories of him holding Bambi in the hospital soon after her birth. He captioned the picture: 'How has time gone that fast! ! !' It comes after the boxer had a candid talk with Men's Health, in which he opened up about his and Molly's breakup and confessed that his struggles with alcohol led to the split. Tommy revealed: 'We broke up because I had a problem with alcohol, and I couldn't be the partner that I wanted to be anymore. It kills me to say it, but I couldn't. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink.' Meanwhile, Molly-Mae has denied her break-up with Tommy and her subsequent documentary, Molly-Mae: Behind It All, are a “publicity stunt”, saying she is “frustrated” by the accusations. Molly said: “I think that for me, above everything, has been the most frustrating part, because I actually say in the documentary, ‘I wish it was a publicity stunt’, because it’d be a lot easier. Because going through all of this with the turmoil of a break-up has been incredibly hard, to have those comments, and I do see the comments, I see all of them. “People say, ‘oh, this has obviously just been done for long term brand or a publicity stunt’, that is very painful, because it’s real life. “Tommy and I have a baby together, and it’s very, very real, and it’s a really hard thing that we’ve both gone through the last six months. I wish it wasn’t, because it would have been a lot easier, but it isn’t.'
