The former Love Island couple took to Instagram on Wednesday, 14 August with heartfelt statements, both expressing sadness about their split.
It seemed to be going well for the pair, who were expected to outlast the mould of the infamous Love Island breakups. But after five years they called it quits and it has been reported that they were already 'spending time apart' before confirming the news this week. Revealing their split on Wednesday, Molly-Mae, 25, told her .9 million followers: "Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this. After five years together I never thought our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end.
