Chuck Schumer deletes Father’s Day photo tweet in front of grill after critics slam his spatula skills
The college football coach-turned-politician sassed Schumer — who went viral for posting a snap on Sunday showing him grilling a raw burger with a slice of cold cheese on top — during an interview Tuesday on “The Benny Show.”
“I’ve been up here almost four years,” he added, referring to the Senate. “I’ve never spoken a word to Chuck Schumer.” “He’s trying to show people that he’s just an average guy .. You can tell he’s never cooked in his life.” 🤣“Our family has lived in an apartment building for all our years, but my daughter and her wife just bought a house with a backyard and for the first time we’re having a barbecue with hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill!” Schumer, 73, wrote in the since-deleted X post.
