Toms River North represented the Garden State as the sole N.J. team to compete in Saturday’s 4x400 Championship of America at Franklin Field.
Despite the finish, the squad featured two athletes who had run multiple races today. Mamadi Diawara and Lowrentzky Ambroise were fresh off the 4x100 Northeast final just an hour earlier, while Camryn Thomas and Mordecai Ford were also apart of the 4x800 C of A quartet. “I think this was great for us,” added Camryn Thomas. “Me and Mordecai just coming off the 4x800 and then the 4x400′s in the morning, it was a really tough weekend for us, but we tried to push through and we did our thing.”
