Both the AFL and Rugby Australia have officially come out in favour of the Voice without showing “any real understanding” that they’ve considered what it means, says Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“And despite the recent advice of John Howard that sport should be a politics-free zone,” Ms Credlin said.
“It was all too much for someone who knows something about rugby, my old boss Tony Abbott, who posted this on Twitter: “Rugby Australia is the latest sports body to succumb to moral blackmail and come out for the Voice. This is totally different from 1967 or ending White Australia. It’s entrenching race into our constitution and changing our system of government.
