Comedian Tony Rock slams Will Smith for slapping Chris at the Oscars over joke about Jada's hair loss
Tony Rock, 47, defended his brother Chris after he was slapped by actor Will Smith at the Oscars on Sunday. He opened his show at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Friday with jokes about the infamous slap. 'If you think you gonna walk up on this stage, this ain’t the motherf**king Oscars!' he said.
He also defended his brother during a Twitter Q&A, saying he didn't 'accept' Smith's apology, but didn't share his thoughts on Smith receiving an award. Smith has apologized for his actions, calling it 'unacceptable and inexcusable'. Chris has kept mostly quiet about the situation, and it was revealed that he choose not to press charges against Smith
