Thrifty shoppers can grab themselves a bargain when the “Too Good to Throw” indoor market returns to Wishaw .

Event organiser Leeann Gillespie is trialling the market as a monthly offering at Wishaw Sports Centre over the summer months, with the first taking place on Saturday, May 25.Get all the news from your area – as well as features, entertainment, sport and the latest on Lanarkshire’s recovery from the coronavirus pandemic – straight to your fingertips, 24/7.

These dates replace those previously advertised for markets that were meant to take place at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility. She said: “The first date is Saturday, May 25 from 10.30am to 1.30pm. We’re opening and closing earlier on this date because of the Scottish Cup Final. Then we’ll be holding monthly markets in June, July and August which will all be from 11am to 2pm.
