AFL: Steven May shared his frustration at watching Collingwood win the flag, saying he believes Melbourne we a better side.
Speaking after winning the club’s best and fairest on Saturday night, Adelaide skipper Jordan Dawson revealed he messaged teammates during the grand final to tell them the Crows were better than Collingwood and Brisbane.“I’ve never been more driven in my life,” Dawson said on the Crows’ confidence after charging up the ladder in 2023.
“We’re all hard working and young and want to get better. Especially as a group, we’re growing rapidly and I’m so excited about next year. Adelaide hasn’t played finals since 2017 but has gradually climbed the ladder under Nicks, who’s been at the helm since 2020.
