But Nine's Danny Weidler is reporting Ryles has rejected the job, to take up another coaching role at the Storm, where he had also been linked as a successor to Craig Bellamy.

Ryles previously worked at Melbourne under Bellamy, and while the supercoach has agreed to go around again next year, it's not secret he is nearing the end.After finishing his playing career at the Storm, Ryles had stints as an assistant at the Storm under Bellamy, and also in English rugby, where he worked under Eddie Jones, before landing at the Roosters.
