Top Gun: Maverick star Glen Powell has been cast in Twisters, an upcoming sequel to the 1996 disaster movie Twister.
as a"new chapter" in the story, but no plot details have been confirmed yet.
It had been rumoured that the sequel could follow Jo and Bill's daughter, who shares her parents' love of extreme weather, but at this stage it's just speculation.as the movie approached it's 25th anniversary, but at the time no studios were interested.
