Hollywood star Glen Powell celebrated the wrap of filming for the Glasgow -based movie adaptation of Stephen King's 'The Running Man' with a party at The Locale pub in Glasgow on Thursday. Powell, known for his roles in 'Top Gun: Maverick' and 'Twisters', was joined by the film's cast and crew, including Josh Brolin, William H. Macy, Michael Cera, and Katy O'Brian.
The film, directed by Edgar Wright, will be released in November 2025 and is expected to be a closer adaptation of King's 1982 novel than the 1987 film starring Paul Michael Glaser. Filming for 'The Running Man' took place in various locations around Glasgow, including Blythswood Hill, Trongate, Haghill, Granby Lane, Bothwell Street, Wellington Street, Waterloo Street, and West Campbell Street.
