Dr Conor O’Malley, who recently helped the Celtic FC Foundation raise £40,000, has received the highest accolade given to general dentists.
A top dentist at a highly-rated private Scottish dental practice has been spared jail over domestic abuse after being convicted of terrorising his wife. Dr Conor O’Malley is Director of L&H Dental Care in Hamilton , Lanarkshire , and his profile on the website paints him as a family man, boasting of his marriage to wife Steph and the children they have together.
He was placed on a Community Payback Order which will see him supervised by social workers for the next 18 months, and carrying out 150 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. He was also made the subject of a Restriction of Liberty Order, which sees him fitted with an electronic tag and having to remain within his home between 7pm and 7am for the next four months.

It is a professional body representing all grass roots dentists and members of the dental team and states it is "committed to raising standards and working together to improve the profession". L&H Dental, which has a Google review rating of 4.9 out of 5, claims it "strives to provide the highest quality of care" to patients.
