A total of 10 cities across the UK were voted
Belfast has been named the second friendliest city in the UK for 2023 by popular travel magazine Condé Nast Traveller.Their annual Readers' Choice Awards is the longest-running recognition in the travel industry - more than half a million readers rated their travel experiences across the globe to make up this year's winners.
Condé Nast Traveller said: "The United Kingdom is an island nation known for, amongst other things, its great hospitality, welcoming visitors from all over the world to its mix of fast-paced urban centres and long-stretching swathes of countryside. "With cities from all four devolved nations appearing on this list, the friendliest people in the country range far and wide.
"Visitors past and present have often remarked on the inclusive nature of the residents here, the birthplace of the Titanic, as well as the joyful atmosphere found within the myriad watering holes."
