BREAKING: Tories turn on Boris amid mounting pressure to sack Cummings

‘If he doesn’t resign, we’ll just keep burning through Boris’s political capital at a rate we can ill afford in the midst of this crisis,’ said the prominent member of the 1922 Committee of backbench Tories.Mr Cummings told reporters on Saturday he didn’t care what the public thought of his actions ‘I really just don’t see, as we approach the Prime Minister at the liaison committee on Wednesday, how this is going to go away unless Dominic goes.’He added: ‘Enough is enough. He wrote on Twitter: ‘With the damage Mr Cummings is doing to the Government’s reputation he must consider his position. According to a joint investigation by The Guardian and The Mirror, 70-year-old retired teacher Robin Lees, of Barnard Castle, said he saw Mr Cummings and his family walking by the River Tees near the town.He told the papers: ‘I was a bit gobsmacked to see him, because I know what he looks like.
