A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL, NORTHERN AND WESTERN OHIO UNTIL 7 P.M.
Senators are sworn in and will begin debate over the procedures for the impeachment trial of DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.This morning we had rain showers moving their way through. All of Central Ohio saw the early morning rain. We may have had a few rumbles of thunder, but severe storms are not likely early today. Morning temps were dipping into the 60s.
A broken line of showers and storms will develop and race across the state in the afternoon and early evening. It will start in Western Ohio or Indiana during the early afternoon. Thursday we start the day with temps in the mid 50s with mostly clear skies and we will stay partly cloudy to mostly sunny for Thursday with a high temperature around 74.

Severe Weather Causes School Closures and State of Emergency Declarations in Ohio and KentuckyMany schools across Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana announced closures or early dismissals Tuesday ahead of the storms. Intense, long-track tornadoes are in the forecast into Tuesday evening for Ohio to Kentucky, including the cities of Cincinnati and Louisville.
