More than three quarters of members polled said they were in favour of quitting the European Convention on Human Rights
The poll used responses from 468 Conservative Party members who responded to a survey issued by the PopCon group and did not use an independent polling organisation.
All three of the leading candidates have either spoken out in favour of or said they are open to the UK leaving the ECHR, a policy which was backed by a vast majority of the members polled. Some 77 per cent of respondents also agreed that whoever wins the leadership contest should “warmly welcome Reform UK members, supporters, candidates and parliamentarians” into the party.net zero targets
