The Gunners were leading 3-0 when Raya tried a dinked pass into midfield but found Tottenham's Cristian Romero, who placed the ball past the Spaniard. Son Heung-min then scored a penalty but Arsenal held on to remain top of the Premier League, albeit by just one point after Manchester City's win at Nottingham Forest later on Sunday."He made an individual error but after that the way he played was outstanding. He was magnificent."
Speaking to BBC Match of the Day, Arteta added: “David Raya stood up and took six, seven crosses and that is what we want, and if you are going to take risks you have that reaction - I am really proud of them.”Arteta praised the character of his entire team, with Arsenal now having responded to their Premier League defeat by Aston Villa and Champions League exit to Bayern Munich with three successive league wins."Mentally we were really solid, the changes worked and we got it done.
