Tottenham-linked Vincent Kompany has been tipped to raid Chelsea for his first signing if the Burnley boss is appointed as Antonio Conte’s successor.
Now Belgian journalist Filip Joos has brought up the possibility of Spurs signing Romelu Lukaku this summer if Kompany takes over.Joos thinks Juventus may be a potential destination for Lukaku if Conte returns to the Italian giants. But the reporter also put forward a potential link-up between Lukaku and his compatriot Kompany at Spurs.“Those are big shoes to fill. I might not dare to do it, but I also think it could work.”Speaking earlier this month, Kompany refused to be drawn on reports linking him with Chelsea and Tottenham.
